She was born
on March 16, 1936 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and graduated from Fort William
Dominican College in Ireland.
She was
employed by Sears Roebuck and Company for 23 years, retiring in 2000.
Mary was a
member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, and loved flowers, planting in her
garden, and going to the casino.
She is
survived by her children, Maureen Dendinger, Port Charlotte, FL, Lisa (Douglas)
Hebert, Brian (Roxanne) Dendinger and Sean (Tina) Dendinger, all of Sandusky;
grandchildren, Heather Friend, Laurel Jackson, Douglas Dendinger II, Kellie
Dendinger, and Lily Dendinger; three great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law,
Joan Shellhouse, Tiffin, OH.
She was
preceded in death by her husband, Herman Arthur Dendinger; parents, Francis and
Helena (Gorman) Donaghy; grandson, Andrew Dendinger; and a sister, Finula.
Friends may
call on Saturday, December 17, 2011, from 4-6 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home &
Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Graveside services will take place on
Monday at 8:30 A.M. in Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Kardiz
