Wilbert Eugene “Kool-Aid” Farris, Sr., 74, Sandusky, died on Saturday, December
31, 2011, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on April 7, 1937 in Summerdale, Alabama to the late John and Ella
(Hunter) Farris.
He was employed by the Waldock Packing Co., Farrell-Cheek, Plumbrook Country
Club, and the Sandusky Yacht Club.
He is survived by his companion, Ann Fenderson, Sandusky; daughters, Evelina
Denise Farris and Danielle Latrice Fenderson, both of Atlanta, GA, Evette Brown
and Martha (Ashan) Lentes, both of Columbus, OH, Tina (Joliet) Smith, Buffalo,
NY, Theresa Moore and Anekia
Fenderson, both of Sandusky; sons, Alvin Ulmer, Laurel, MS, Wilbert Farris, Jr.,
Richard “Punkin” Harvey, and Keith Fenderson, all of Sandusky; thirty
grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine (Cecil)
Roberts, Lillie Brown, Mary Jones, Ruby (Bobbie) Nesbit, Ruth (Dennis) Fletcher,
and Jannice Farris, all of Sandusky; brothers, Fred “Sugarman” Farris, John
(Priscilla) Farris, and Walter Farris, all of Sandusky; a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Dorothy Farris.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 7, 2012, from 12 P.M. (Noon) until time of
funeral services at 1 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave.,
